What do I need to know for a custom piece?

Fabric - Give me a color/pattern/motif/vibe and I can pull options from my stash. If I don’t have anything that strikes your fancy, I’m happy to go shopping! You can also specify a specific fabric, or do your own shopping. I love Blue Bar Quilts and Electric Needle for local stores with online ordering. Online stores abound and can often have stock of older or harder to find fabrics. For purses/sling bags I typically use a linen/cotton blend for the outside and quilting cotton for the lining. Book sleeves and zip pouches typically use quilting cotton.
Hardware - I stock zippers, pulls, and other bag hardware in Gold, Silver, Gunmetal, Rose Gold, and Rainbow. See the photo for available zipper pulls.
Webbing - I stock black and ivory cotton webbing, but am happy to order other colors or materials.
Pricing - For items on the website, a $5 custom fee applies. For new items, price will be determined based on cost of materials + time.
